Chicago Wrigley Field serves as home to the Major League Baseball’s Chicago Cubs, although it is more than just a baseball field. Many baseball purists rank the athletic field with Baltimore’s Camden Yard and the “House that Ruth Built,” Yankee Stadium. Built by the chewing gum magnate in 1914, this excellent stadium is a history lesson in itself. Be sure not to miss the chance to grab a seat in front of famous ivy-covered outfield wall and watch the still-manual scoreboard record every Cub’s hit.

Whether you’re a first timer or an old timer, everyone will love a edge-of-you-seat Cub’s game. Whether games are playing or not, still make a trip to Wrigley Field to check out their ballpark tour. Tours take place year round from 10am to 4:30pm when games are not scheduled.

Each tour takes approximately 30 minutes and costs $20 per person. Kids especially enjoy this first class tour of a world famous ball park. The tour encompasses such unique areas as the clubhouse, press box, bleachers, dug out, playing field, and the luxury suites. If you have ever imagined yourself on the pitcher’s mound or running through the backfield to catch that pop fly, you should definitely not miss the exciting opportunity!
