The museum’s most famous resident, Sue,
has thrilled visitors of all ages due to her massive size and unique statute.
The world’s
largest and best preserved Tyrannosaurus rex skeleton lurks in the
museum’s massive rotunda.
Sue is sure to take the breath and

The Field Museum is also home to the famous man
eating lions of Tsavo. These two beasts lurked at the site of a
railroad bridge construction over the Tsavo River in East Africa.
Before being shot by the English commander, these huge lions ate
nearly 140 workers.
The enormous stuffed lions are sure to astound.
Besides these famous lions, the museum is home to a vast array of
mammals, birds, reptiles, fish, and amphibians from all over the
world. In addition to animal collections, explore the anthropological
collections from six of the world’s inhabited continents. From Asian
prints to African masks, this collection is fantastic.
