March 11
2006 South Side Chicago Irish St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Description: See how it’s been done since 1962. Just before Chicago’s Irish Parade kicks off, don’t miss the green dye ceremony. Forty pounds of green vegetable dye will be poured into the Chicago River to commemorate yet another lively St. Patrick Day celebration.
Location: Michigan and Columbus Drive

March 11
Chicago Saint Patrick's Day Parade 2006
Description: Come join Chicago’s annual tradition of the Chicago St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The procession steps off from Balboa and Columbus Street.
Location: Columbus Drive and Balboa
Time: 11AM – 12 PM
Cost: FREE

Chicago South Side Irish St. Patrick's Day Parade
Description: As one of the most polarized and largest community celebration of St. Patrick's Day in the United States, this parade conjures up good old-fashioned Irish fun, festivities and shenanigans.
Location: 103rd and Western
Time: 12-5pm
Cost: FREE

Young Irish Fellowship Club of Chicago: Forever Green Party 
Description: Teenagers and parents are invited to learn and dance the Irish jig at this lively event made of shamrocks, limericks, and shenanigans.
Location: Navy Pier, 600 E Grand.
Time: 5PM-10PM 
Cost: $30 tickets bought in advance & $40 at the door

St. Patrick’s Day Celtic Music
Description: Step into an Irish Pub tucked away on the north side of Chicago. Celtic music will play music commemorating St Patrick’s Day.
