Bike the Drive is your invitation from the Mayor of Chicago to join in one of the nation’s biggest bicycle rides. Hop on your cycle for a stress-free, car-free ride along Lake Shore Drive, where you can enjoy amazing views of the city’s skyline and lakefront. The great thing is, you can choose your pace and distance. Your registration includes the ride, a t-shirt and a fun festival after the ride ends. Cyclists can begin as early as 5:30 am or as late as 9 am and proceed at their desired pace.
You and your kids can choose to head north or south, but be sure to come back to Lakefront Trail for the festival, offering something fun for all ages.
You can enjoy music and special activities for the kids. Don’t miss the pancake breakfast for a small extra charge. You’ll also find bicycle celebrations, sponsor booths and information on healthy living. It’s a celebration of physical activity as well as Chicago’s renowned beauty. Pedal on over for a great event.
