Pumpkin (Daley) Plaza, Corner on Washington between Clark and Dearborn Streets

The 9th Annual Chicagoween is stirring up some eerie excitement again at the Pumpkin (Daley) Plaza. It’s just one of the many boo-tification events hosted around the city for free.

Each year, the event is a buzz of haunted and thrilling fun for families. Depending on when you visit Pumpkin Daily Plaza, if you plan just right you can fit in another haunting tour.

For instance, on Thursdays and Fridays you can climb aboard the Haunted L for a thrilling ride of terror from creeps, freaks and ghouls. Since travel times vary check with the Chicago Culture Center for times (77 E. Randolph).

Event Tip: The tickets for the Haunted L are free and first come, first serve; however they are available at the Chicago Cultural Center, 77 E. Randolph Street. (Most rides go from 7 in the evening to 8. There are other scheduled Haunted L times).
