The 17th Annual ¡Viva! Chicago Latin Music Festival is a wealth of Salsa and merengue. This Midwest festival is considered one of the largest events of its kind. Attendance will top over 15,000 people per day and more than twenty groups will grace the stages with their performance.

Music compilations will include everything from cumbias, ballads, norteñas, merengue, ranchero, tropical, salsa to mariachi. In previous years, the festival has featured Latin musical geniuses such as: El Gran Combo, Cachao, Andy Montañez and Grupo Mateo’s. Here is a preview of a few
of the world renowned musicians who will be playing this year:

There’s a little bit of something for everyone at Chicago’s Annual Viva Chicago Latin Music Festival. Vendors will be selling authentic Mexican cuisine. Traditional foods like homemade tamales, chili-rubbed skirt steak fajitas and more are available throughout the festival grounds.

There will also be a host of artists showcasing their vivid artworks and paintings. For unique jewelry lovers, silver, turquoise and other precious gems will be available for purchase. For the Latino-fashion conscious, an abundance of
Mexican imported clothing will be on display.
