The Winter WonderFest. Come out and discover the wonderment of Winter at this event. For the fifth consecutive year this family-focused festival will add enchantment to your Chicago holiday experience. The image of tens of hundreds of trees, coupled with family-inspired attractions make for a holiday season reminiscent of magic and joy.
To fast forward the family adventure through this glorious attraction, The Reindeer Express Train Ride offers you and the family your own version of the Polar Bear Express. The family-style trackless train will choo-choo its way through more than 300-feet of Navy Pier. The journey through the activities, sights, sounds and smells of Wonderfest will leave you and the children mesmerized and dizzy with holiday merriment.
If you prefer to travel from the Big Apple to the Windy City, climb aboard The Station at Navy Pier for a virtual tour. The unique cross-country tour is a model train display that transports guests through an audio and visually stimulating feature of lights and authentic train sounds. Every three to five minutes, the train station encapsulated in a 30-foot-tall Victorian like setting intersperses day and nighttime views through almost 1,000 feet of track and detailed scenic views.
An outstanding opportunity to teach the kids how to ice skate awaits your family at the Arctic Ice Rink. The indoor rink stretches some 150+ feet and offers a bartering of chills for thrills. Don’t miss the other special feature attractions:

Event tip: Although, this event is free to see and walk through, a $10 wristband is required for participation in any of the fun activities, attractions and rides. To save money, on parking at Navy Pier try to arrive early 3 PM (Mondays- Thursdays, before 12.22.05) for a $10 flat-rate garage parking fee.
